We actually prefer to split up fat burner dosing throughout the day. That way, appetite suppression and energy boosting benefits have an effect all day long, which is what we need.
But a rapid-acting capsule would indeed be of benefit if you intended to use your fat burner right before working out.

The only way to really find out if Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate is any good is by looking at the formula itself. Here is the ingredients list:
Obviously the thing that jumps out at us here is the proprietary blend.
We have fundamental issues with proprietary blends.
When viewed from the customer’s perspective, proprietary blends always represent poor value for money. They prevent you from making a rational buying decision based on the ingredients and their serving sizes. They prevent you from learning about how you react to given quantities of certain ingredients.
More often than not, they are almost always employed to disguise low quality, cheap product.
However, there are very specific problems with the Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate proprietary blend. We’ll go through the biggest concerns here.
Small Blend Size
What strikes us about this particular proprietary blend is its small size; with a total serving size of 294.5mg and 5 ingredients, it is impossible for all of the ingredients to be dosed at the quantities generally recognized as ideal.
It is certainly very unlikely that the best ingredients have been dosed how they need to be for maximum results. There is simply not enough formula to go around for the ingredients here to work how they are thought to work.
For example, Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate contains caffeine anhydrous.
When taken as part of a professional, comprehensive fat burning stack, caffeine anhydrous should be taken in amounts of around 200mg split over the course of a day. This is about right to ensure high energy levels but minimal side effects.
Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate is taken once per day, so such a large dose is not necessary. In this case, 100mg of caffeine anhydrous is enough to counter-act acute fatigue.
But that would leave just 194.5mg of formula to be split between 4 ingredients.
And 100mg is a rather low serving size for a premium fat loss supplement.
Clearly then, the Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate formula is too small to allow each ingredient to be included at its ideal dosage. There is no way around this problem in our opinion; to some degree value is always going to be linked to size.
Useless Ingredients
Compounding this problem is the fact that some of the ingredients seem to be largely ineffective for promoting fat loss.
The biggest example here is theobromine.
Theobromine is found naturally in dark chocolate; it is one of the compounds found in abundance in dark chocolate, and it si usually one of the compounds targeted by cocoa bean extracts.
Theobromine is thought to work as a stimulant in the body. Indeed, it does seem to exert some kind of stimulating effect when consumed by humans.
However, this effect is significantly weaker than the stimulating effects of, say, caffeine or theanine.
For example, this study found that 500mg of theobromine was associated with greater calmness and contentedness (measured by subjective reporting) compared to placebo.
However, as you will see, cognition was unchanged across all measures, so there was no actual, tangible benefit from theobromine supplementation beyond subjects reporting greater calmness.
You also need to bare dosage in mind here; theobromine was unable to exert an effect on cognition (focus and mental energy) when consumed at doses as high as 500mg per day! The Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate formula is only 294.5mg in size.

Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate Side Effects
While one of the main problems with Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate is the fact that it is unlikely to bring about significant benefits, the product does have some side effect risks.
For starters, we have no idea how much caffeine is in each serving.
It is quite possible that each serving contains as much as 294mg of caffeine anhydrous, which is a more potent form of caffeine by weight than regular caffeine (since it has had all water molecules removed).
Of course, that is speculation, and there could just as easily be 1mg of caffeine per serving.
But that is exactly our point; when it comes to health and safety, uncertainty is never good. Why the manufacturers want us to consider these extreme possibilities is beyond me. If the caffeine dosage is good, then why make us speculate at all? Why not tell us?
Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate also contains synephrine.
We think synephrine is almost all hype. We are yet to see any convincing evidence that it works how supplement manufacturers say it does.
However, if synephrine does work how they say it does, it may well cause some fairly serious side effects.
Possible side effects associated with synephrine usage include headaches, migraines, hypertension, and continued use of synephrine may increase the risk of strokes and heart attacks.

Having taken a closer look at Lipo-6 Black Ultra Concentrate, we think it’s fair to say that this is not a particularly good fat burner by today’s standards.

It is composed of a small proprietary blend. The size of the proprietary blend means that it is almost certain that the best ingredients are serious under-dosed. It is practically impossible for all of the ingredients to be present at what people believe to be their ideal serving sizes.
