        Full WINN-50 Review

We couldn’t help but notice WINN-50. Made by Anabolic Research, WINN-50 is one of a wide range of products which seem to be designed as “natural alternatives” to popular steroids.

Those of you with some knowledge of Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) will notice that the Anabolic Research products are all named after very popular steroids. They are not named exactly the same as their more powerful, synthetic counterparts; rather, they are given their abbreviated ‘nicknames’. The range includes Clen (supposedly a natural Clenbuterol), Tren 75 (billed as a Trenbolone replacement), and many more.

WINN-50 is, as you might have worked out, supposed to be a kind of natural alternative to Winstrol. Winstrol is easily one of the most popular and widely-used steroids in existence. Often given the nickname “Winny”, Winstrol is a brand name. It is actually a compound with the formal name Stanozolol.

        Anabolic Research WINN-50 Review

Winstrol is a popular ‘cutting’ steroid. All steroids can be used as part of a bodybuilder’s ‘cutting’ regimen, but Winstrol is specifically associated with lean mass retention and it is not associated with water retention like other steroids, most notably Dianabol.

So what is WINN-50? Is it anything like Winstrol?

        Not a chance.

The one thing that all “natural steroid replacements” have in common is that they cannot produce even 1% of the same effects as their synthetic counterparts.

Or to put it another way, they don’t work how they say they will. They simply can’t.

But the WINN-50 merchant page actually doesn’t claim to work like Winstrol. It does create that association through the name, but it does not explicitly say that it works as a natural Winstrol alternative.

In fact, it doesn’t seem to mention Winstrol at all. Instead, they simply claim that WINN-50 can deliver the following (impressive) range of benefits:

        • Increase strength and endurance
        • Reduce body fat by enhancing metabolic rate
        • Promote faster muscle recovery
        • Improve muscular definition and vascularity
        • Speed, power and overall athleticism

This is certainly more comprehensive than most other fat burners. Natural fat burning supplements are usually very specific by design; they aim to curb appetite, boost energy levels and enhance fat loss. They very rarely try to do this while promoting muscle growth, “definition and vascularity”, and things of that nature.

We think any supplement which claims to improve “muscle definition” is a little misleading. Fat burners can help reduce your body fat levels, which will make you look more “chiseled”. But fat loss does not necessarily improve muscle definition; that requires proper training as well.

Overall though, this supplement promises to be a very good fat burner.

That is assuming that these claims are true. But are they?

Does WINN-50 really deliver any of these benefits?

Does it enhance fat loss while boosting athletic performance?

Is it safe? What are the side effect risks?

Most importantly, is WINN-50 the best option for you? Or is there a better supplement for your specific goals?

Let’s find out. Below you will find our full Anabolic Research WINN-50 review. As always, we’ll focus first and foremost on the formula. If you get to the end of the review and you still have any questions, please just post them in the comments section. We aim to reply to all comments within 48 hours.

        WINN-50 Formula

If you’re trying to decide whether or not a fat burner can live up to the claims of the manufacturer, then the best place to start is the formula itself. Supplement brands can deploy all the advertising they like, but if the formula doesn’t stack up, then we can move on.

Here is the Anabolic Research WINN-50 formula in full:

        Anabolic Research WINN-50 Formula

You will notice right away that WINN-50 is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans. We don’t think this makes for a bad product necessarily; we just think it’s necessary to point out when products are not suitable for all users.

Perhaps the most striking thing you will notice about WINN-50 is that it is composed of proprietary blends.

This means that we do not know how much of each ingredient is really in a single serving.

This represents a serious issues in any circumstances. Proprietary blends pose fundamental problems to customers that cannot be overcome by the quality of the ingredients in the blend itself.

For example, proprietary blends mean that you can’t use your past experience with supplements to make a reasoned buying decision. You can’t look at the doses of WINN-50 and decide, based on your own experience (the only valuable experience in this regard), whether or not it will work for you.

That’s because the effectiveness of ingredients is always tied to dosage.

To put it bluntly, not all proprietary blends are as bad as each other, but they are all bad for the same reasons.

So what about the WINN-50 blend? Does it stand any chance of delivering the benefits that Anabolic Research say it can?

        We don’t think so.

Here is a quick breakdown of the main problems we see with this particular formula.

        -Glucomannan: Is It Actually Effective?-

        Use Of Hormones

WINN-50 contains Dehydroepiandrosterone, or DHEA to give it its more commonly used acronym, DHEA.

DHEA is actually a hormone. It is produced by the human adrenal gland and it is primarily converted into either estrogen or testosterone according to the body’s demand for either sex hormone.

WINN-50 is not a steroid, but it does involve some hormone manipulation.

This is, in our opinion, a serious flaw with the product.

Hormone manipulation comes with inherent problems and serious dangers.

        WINN-50 Ingredients DHEA

The people who are looking for an all-natural, professional-quality fat burner (amateur bodybuilders, pro-boxers, MMA fighters, powerlifters, etc.) do not want to use exogenous hormones for a very good reason; they are usually banned in these sports.

Other people who do not compete in sports will nevertheless want a natural fat loss supplement for a very good reason too: hormone manipulation is very dangerous.

It almost always involves unintended side effects and long-term health risks. This is especially true with oral hormone supplementation, which means that the exogenous hormone must be processed by the liver; this takes a serious toll!

Hormone manipulation in this manner is also incredibly unreliable. When using pro-hormones like DHEA which convert into either testosterone or estrogen, it is incredibly difficult to predict results with any accuracy.

All-in-all, we think the use of DHEA is not a good idea for the vast majority of users. In fact, we don’t think it is a particularly good idea for any users.

Professional athletes who want to use exogenous hormones to improve their physical performance should do so under the guidance of a qualified, licensed and experienced medical professional. They should not use oral pro-hormones bought over the internet; rather, they should talk to a health professional about regulated, high quality, pharmaceutical grade hormones.

We are not endorsing the use of anabolic androgenic steroids here. We are simply saying that if a person has decided to use exogenous hormones, they should not just buy pro-hormones online. This is extremely dangerous and puts your health at risk. Talk to a doctor about your intentions and they will do what they can to keep you safe!

All of the above problems are confounded by the fact that we have no idea how much DHEA is in each serving of WINN-50.

Do you honestly think it is a good idea to take an exogenous pro-hormone that seems to be able to significantly alter both your testosterone and estrogen levels?

No. We don’t think it’s a good idea either.

The lack of clear dosage information here is, in our opinion, downright dangerous.

        Use Of Bogus Ingredients

Another major problem with the WINN-50 formula is that it contains ingredients that are practically useless.

For example, Dandelion Root Extract seems to have absolutely no power as a fat burner or as an enhancer of physical performance.

Studies looking at dandelion root have focused on its potential as a cholesterol-reducing agent.

These studies are not particularly convincing on the whole; results are under-whelming and the studies often confound dandelion root with other ingredients that could be doing most of the work (ref).

We suspect that dandelion root is used here as it can be a potent diuretic (stimulates water loss). Taking a powerful diuretic can make people look significantly leaner in a very short space of time. Bodybuilders use this tactic all the time. It doesn’t actually make you leaner; you do not lose body fat or gain muscle mass. But being dehydrated gives the appearance of being more “shredded”.

Not only is this a terrible way to try to get leaner, but dandelion root doesn’t actually seem to be reliable for the majority of users.

        Anabolic Research WINN-50 Review Conclusion

All things considered, we don’t think this is a good choice if you are looking for a natural supplement to help you enhance your next cutting phase.

Anabolic Research WINN-50 contains DHEA; a human hormone which converts in the body to produce either testosterone or estrogen.

Consuming pro-hormones orally is not something to undertake lightly. They carry serious health risks, and they are wildly unpredictable.

WINN-50 also contains some pretty useless ingredients. It provides an indeterminate amount of dandelion root; a diuretic. Many diet pills use this tactic; causing water loss makes someone look leaner very quickly, but it does not actually make you any leaner. it simply makes you look momentarily more shredded.

The potential benefits of WINN-50 are massively outweighed by the potential problems in our opinion.

If you want to get more out of your next cut, or you need help taking your physique to the next level, look elsewhere.
